Hi
I am sorry that there was no blog last week, we had an other week away.
We took my Daughter, her Husband and children away while the downstairs and staircase of their house was being painted. We didn't think that Oliver would have coped having everything moved. We rented a lovely cottage in Lockton, not far from Whitby or Pickering. The boys loved the garden and the cottage was beautiful.
We went on the little train at Scarborough and the NY moors railway from Goathland to Whitby, where we spent most of our time in Harry's bar, a cafe that we love going to... because it was raining. Oliver loves trains... George enjoyed collecting Pokemon, he walked the full length of Marine Drive in both directions.
Progress on our bathroom and downstairs toilet, they only need painting now, I am very pleased with the results.
Don't forget that part 6 of the CAL is now available on my website and on Ravelry.
