Trip to Poland

Hello

Lots to tell you about today

We have just had a lovely weekend away in Poland, we flew from Leeds/Bradford airport to Gdansk.
A super 2 hour 15 mins of crochet time, I managed to get the centre of a shawl worked.

Its a lovely city they have rebuilt a lot of the historical quayside which was destroyed in the 2nd world war, there are still lots of buildings to be replaced.

There are shops which sell amber jewellery and glass items, trips on boats down the river and lots of restaurants we liked the Elephant bar and Billys but there were more, we stayed at the Hilton which is at the end of the quayside so very handy for all the interesting places to see.

Lovely sky and lots more wool

Hello

What a lovely sky we were treated to this morning, it is still really windy and quite cold as well. I took my Grandson to school and the wind was blowing across the school field Brrrr.

The sky though was amazing

I have just received some new wool supplies ready for Birmingham in March

Just hope we don't need to use the spare room before then, my Grandson said "more wool Gran you have got lots already why do you need more", well, we can never have enough can we?

I have packed some of the bags already

Hello,

This is a simple free pattern for a winter iPhone cover. You can chose from two different snowflakes to go on the front.  Just make sure you check you have enough rows to fit your phone, as I didn't read my own pattern and made this one a row too short...oops.
